Who are you?!
Well, we are Twitch Intro! We are part of a video production company called Escapism Film Productions. Not to boast, but in the past couple of years we have made videos for Nintendo, EA, Activision and Microsoft, mainly in The Netherlands. If you want to have a look, and are fluent in Dutch, you can check out Escapism’s website if you click here! Twitch Intro is not affiliated with Twitch.
Don’t let the name confuse you! We make videos that you can use on both Twitch and YouTube, to make your channel and streams a bit more professional! So, for example, you can have an intro video at the beginning of your YouTube/Twitch stream to give your channel more personality. But it doesn’t stop there, you can also have videos for when you are away for a moment, a credits video to show at the end of your stream or a countdown video!
A countdown video?
Yep, it’s something we’ve come up with, which might work very well on your Twitch channel. When most people start streaming, they go live and start playing. But wouldn’t it be nice if you could have a countdown to gather all your followers so they can catch the start of your livestream?
A countdown is a video you can start before your stream. It’ll count down for a couple of minutes, keeping your early viewers entertained, and give some important information (like your Twitter, Facebook or Youtube website). For an example of a countdown, click here for an animated video or here for a stylish, calm video.
So this video, how much will it cost me?
Ah, the most important question of them all! The price depends on what you want to do with the video(s). For example, if you only want a very simple, clean video, it won’t cost us a lot of time to make, so the price will be relatively low. If you want difficult animations, special effects, explosions and fireworks… it’ll be more difficult to make, so we have to ask for a bit more!
Okay, but can you give me a ballpark?
We can try, but it always depends on the situation! And we are always open for a good talk about the possibilities and the budget, don’t be afraid to ask! For example, a very simple intro (with only text, a clean background, a logo) will take us 3-5 hours to make. Including your (possible) feedback, it’ll probably take up to 8 hours. So the lowest we can go in price is around the 200 dollar mark.
A more complex video(set) with special animations and effects will take us a lot more time to create. The price always depends on what you would like, and what we can do to help you. We always like to have a good conversation (via email or chat) to come up with an idea for your videos. And before we actually begin making them, we want to have a mutually agreed set price. In other words, you’ll never have to worry about us asking more than what we agreed on, even if -due to random circumstances- it’ll cost us more time than we predicted. Once we agreed on a price, you can count on that!
When do I pay? Do I have to pay you beforehand?
Don’t worry, you don’t have to pay anything until we have finished the video and you are 100% happy with the result!
But, how does that work?
We always want to work together with you. So after we have made a concept video, we upload it to a private YouTube link. You can see the video and if you want to change anything, just let us know! It’s your video, so we can change it to anything you like.
And then?
After we’ve made some possible changes, and you like the result, we upload it to YouTube, so you can check out the final version!
And when do I get the video?
Again, you are the boss! So only after you are 100% happy with the result! If you are, you can pay us via PayPal and we will send you the full resolution video(s) in mp4 format!
Are there any rules? Any hidden things in the contract?
First of all, there is no contract, don’t worry! As for rules, the only thing you might have to remember are the actual credits for the music. Before we start making the videos, we’ll always discuss the music with you. Unfortunately, not every song is free to use. For example, if you want to use music from a famous band, it’s probably impossible without paying that band a fee. So we can suggest music to you, which is either free, or included in the costs. Sometimes you have to give the artist some credit in your description to use a song.
Credit? What?
It’s really simple, thankfully. Sometimes, if you want to use a specific song, you have to put some text in your YouTube video/Twitch description to actually credit the music artist. If you insert that line of text, you are allowed to use that song in your stream. Don’t worry, we’ll help you with that! Also, we’d really appreciate it if you could credit us as well! The only thing we ask is a line like: “Looking for your own intro video? Check out www.twitchintro.com!”
Hey, I made some music myself, do you want to use it for a video?
Great! We’d love to hear it! Drop us an email at info@twitchintro.com and we’ll contact you as soon as possible!
